Attractive dark berries with berries with an earthy thread that leads to a smooth, fine-cut patate that offers a very attractive array of juicy and even-paced fruit flavors. James Suckling
The 2016 Canon Pécresse presents a distinctly dark, rich expression of Fronsac. Dark fruit, spice, chocolate and licorice all flesh out in the glass. Rich, creamy and flamboyant, this wine will appeal most to readers who like exotic, opulent reds. The 2016 is 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc, done in equal parts new oak, one-year-old oak and tank. Hannah Fiegenschuh consults. Vinous Antonio Galloni
Gereift in Barriques aus Drittbelegung. Merlot und Cabernet Franc.
