Weinwisser 
50,1 % Merlot, 4,4 % Cabernet Franc, 45,5 % Cabernet Sauvignon, 14,5 %-vol.. Purpur mit rubinroten Reflexen. Dichtes blaubeeriges Bouquet mit sehr reifen Brombeeren und dunklen Kirschen, dahinter Heidelbeerkompott und Milchschokolade. Am mittleren Gaumen mit samtiger Textur, fast kitschiger Extraktsüsse, reifen Tanninen und zart sandigen Nuancen. Im aromatischen energiegeladenen Finale mit einem Potpourri von schwarzen Johannisbeeren und Brasiltabakblatt.

Wonderfully perfumed with violets and essence of raspberries that follow through to a medium to full body with totally integrated tannins that are tight and poised. You almost can’t “see” the tannins, but you feel them. Best after 2025, but already so pretty.

Unwinding in the glass with aromas of dark berries, orange rind and rich spices, framed by a deft application of cedary new oak, the 2019 La Chapelle de la Mission Haut-Brion is medium to full-bodied, deep and concentrated, with lively acids and a more tightly wound profile than its counterpart across the street.
