Falstaff 
Tiefdnkles Rubingranat, opaker Kern, violette Reflexe, zarte Randaufhellung. Zarte Edelholzwürze, etwas Nugat, dunkle Beerenfrucht, ein Hauch von Lakritze. Saftig, reife Herzkirschen, frisch strukturiert, tragende Tannine, mineralisch, gut anhaftend, verfügt über Reifepotenzial. 

James Suckling 
A racy wine with pure blackberry and crushed-stone character that tastes really minerally and salty. Medium body. Very beautiful tannins coat the center-palate. 80% merlot and 20% cabernet franc. 

Jeb Dunnuck 
The 2023 Château Saint Georges (Côte Pavie) comes from the clay and limestone hillside just outside of the village (not far from Chateau Pavie) and is based on 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc. Spicy black cherries, red plums, leafy herbs, graphite, and a hint of chocolate all emerge on the nose, and it hits the palate with medium to full-bodied richness, a plush, layered mouthfeel, beautiful tannins, and a great finish. It's very much in the style of the vintage with its forward, charming style, but this is beautiful stuff. 

Jeff Leve 
Savory black cherries, herbs, and licorice with a floral edge in the nose deftly moves to a vibrant, medium-bodied, sweet, chewy, round center of sweet, red berries, chocolate, and espresso. The wine offers an open, forward approach. The wine blends 80% Merlot, with 20% Cabernet Franc. Drink from 2026-2038. 92-94 Pts.
