A powerful Beau-Site with muscular tannins and richness. Remains fresh and bright with intensity and length. Medium to full body with lots going on. This is so structured and will age beautifully. 74% cabernet sauvignon, 23% merlot and 3% petit verdot.
Jeff Leve
Uncommonly rich for Beau-Site, the wine is packed with ripe, dark fruits, spice, licorice, and flowers. Round, fresh, and filled with chewy, sweet fruits, the finish is fresh, and fruity, offering nuances of licorice, and dark cocoa on the back end. The wine blends 74% Cabernet Sauvignon, 23% Merlot and 3% Petit Verdot. Drink from 2025-2037.
Decanter
Such an intensely aromatic nose, so open and expressive, generous and perfumed with dark black fruits. Ripe and scented, smells on the verge of potent and broad shouldered. Supple, but tannic, tannins make the immediate impression, liquorice, graphite and coffee laced so a little spiced but very stony, such minerality and chalkiness in the mouth. Tannins take the fore right now, but they're well worked, and this has a nice overall frame. This is striking, there’s no doubt there’s heft, and it’s not immediately charming but there’s a sense of style and intensity here that is quite impressive. Axel Marchal consultant.
